According to sources, 20-year-old Brandon Safford has been charged with aggravated assault after a shooting occurred at a Circle K gas station located at 3412 Mike Padgett Highway in Augusta, GA on Friday, January 27, 2023. The shooting occurred at the convenience store when a silver sedan pulled up in the parking lot, and a man exited the vehicle and approached the 18-year-old victim. Both the man and the victim exchanged gunshots.
When the police arrived, the victim was lying at the front counter. He was taken to August University Medical Center. Two handguns were found in the trash can out front of the Circle K after the shooting.
