According to sources, a 50-year-old man was driving his 2018 Chrysler sedan in the westbound lanes of Interstate 26 when a 2016 Hyundai SUV was traveling eastbound in the wrong lane and crashed into his sedan head on. The automobile crash occurred around 12:05 a.m. on December 27, 2022 near mile marker 188 on I-26 just one mile east of the Ridgeville Road exit. The driver of the Hyundai traveling in the wrong lane suffered injuries, as did the passenger in the Hyundai. Additionally, the passenger in the 2018 Chrysler sedan suffered injuries.
